Giving back at the table
Giving back is an important part of Averill. We believe mahjong has the power to bring people together, strengthen communities, and create meaningful moments around the table. Through thoughtful partnerships, we support organizations using the game to make a positive difference.
MahjCon, Inc.
MahjCon is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, connecting, and empowering the American Mah Jongg community. Through events, workshops, tournaments, and charitable initiatives, MahjCon brings players together while raising funds for Alzheimer’s research and other meaningful causes.
For MahjCon 2027, Averill is donating three Monet’s Garden American mahjong sets to the event’s silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will support MahjCon’s charitable mission and Alzheimer’s research. Averill is honored to contribute to a partnership that brings together mahjong, community, and a cause close to our hearts.
